After completing my master's in Physics (June 2015) at Christ (Deemed to be University), I started my research career in Feb 2016 at the Centre for Nano and Material Science, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). My doctoral research primarily focused on investigating binary metal oxides/sulfides as electrode materials for energy storage applications (Li-ion batteries). I was interested in understanding the science behind the conversion mechanism of metal oxides in Li/Na-ion batteries. Most of my doctoral were carried out at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, during my exchange visit (2017-2018). In 2018, I got an opportunity to visit the National Taiwan University as a TEEP student to conduct my research for six months. Finally, I complied with my research and submitted my doctoral thesis on Jan 2020. I had a short career break for 6 months during the COVID lockdown (After submitting my doctoral thesis). On 8th July 2020, I successfully completed my final defense. After the COVID breakout (Aug 2020), I extended my research as Research Associate at the Centre for Nano and Material Science, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) till Aug 2021. Later moved to Gyeongsang National University as a Brain Pool Fellow to carry out research on Li-S batteries from 2022-24. Currently working at Utrecht University, Netherlands as Post doctoral researcher.
